Why the first weeks decide

A tissue-culture plant or a fresh cutting has almost no roots. In normal potting soil the few it has either dry out or drown, and organic material can bring mould and fungus gnats along.
Sphagnum moss holds many times its weight in water and releases it evenly. Mixed with perlite it stays airy, so the roots get moisture and oxygen at the same time.

How do I prepare a tissue-culture plant?

Take it out of the bag, rinse all the agar off in lukewarm water (10 to 15 minutes) and keep everything clean. Agar left on the roots is where mould starts.

How wet should the sphagnum moss be?

Soak it, then squeeze it out until it stops dripping. Moist, not wet. Mixed with perlite it stays airy, which is what young roots need.

Do I need a lid or a propagation box?

Yes, for the first weeks. A closed container keeps the humidity up. Open it every few days to let fresh air in.

When do I move the plant to soil?

When you see new roots growing into the moss, usually after a few weeks. Then pot it in the mix SYBAScan recommends for that plant, and keep watering from the top until it has settled.

Can I return part of the bundle?

Yes. You do not have to send the whole thing back.

Keep what you are using and return the rest within 90 days. Opened is fine, as long as it is unused. Each returned item is refunded at the price you actually paid for it inside the bundle, so its normal price with the same bundle discount applied. Whatever you keep stays at its bundle price, nothing gets recalculated against you.
