Why the gnats keep coming back

Fungus gnats lay their eggs in wet, peat-based soil. The larvae live in the top layer and feed on fine roots, so the plant weakens while you fight the adults.
Open bags on a garden-centre shelf often arrive with eggs already in them. A peat-free mix that drains fast and comes in a closed bag gives them far less to work with.

Will SYBASoil get rid of my fungus gnats?

No soil kills an existing infestation. SYBASoil helps reduce the risk of a new one: it is peat-free, drains fast and leaves the bag closed with predatory mites added, which is why 98.9% of customers in our survey report no soil pests since switching. For the current flies, let the top layer dry out and use sticky traps while the plant settles into the new mix.

Why is the soil peat-free?

Peat compacts over time and can stop absorbing water. We use coconut fibre and worm castings instead, so the mix stays airy and usable for much longer. It is also better for the environment.

Which mix do I need?

What can I expect when using SYBASoil?
